Pros:
- setup is relatively quick, approximately 15 minutes including security
- DIR-601 speeds are ALWAYS 54mbps
- affordable price
- handles multiple devices smoothly without needing to be tweaked
- doesn't lag or overlay when supporting multiple devices
- clean admin interface makes everything easy to find
- handles streaming video seamlessly
Cons:
- documentation is sparse without the CD
- drops connections frequently
- included software not Mac compatible
- poor reliability
- speeds drop very quickly when more than one computer connects to the device (via wireless or wired connection)
- no easy setup wizard for Linux or OSX - must be set up manually
- generally erratic and weak signal strength
- unimpressive speeds
- WPA and WEP, but no WPA2 support

Pros: Price, configuration, stable
Cons: less range than most 2 antenna routers

Pros: Speed boost over 802.11g. Consumes less power than older D-Link routers. Improved configuration page.
Cons: Speed boost is marginal. Router does not provide range improvement. Definitely not "true" 802.11n.
