Is this just another sequel or does it out perform the first game of the series?
Dead Space 2: Severed Review for the XBOX360
Pros: Same great sound and atmosphere; Great combat sequences; More backstory, revisiting the Wellers
Cons: Who the hell are the Wellers?; Where are the Zero-G sequences
Dead Space 2: Severed Review
Pros: It's six bucks for more Dead Space 2 action
Cons: Barely an hour long; change in perspective undermines subtexts of main game; ties into transmedia marketing so the story is not complete; far too repetitive and redundant; no scares
Dead Space 2
Pros: Excellent pacing and intense action; impressive presentation and visuals; new emotional depth
Cons: Multiplayer modes feel tacked on; some repetitive sequences; AI can be a little cheap
Dead Space 2 Review
Pros: Tremendous sound engineering; more attachment to Isaac; better game design from overall difficulty to save checkpoints; 360 degree zero gravity is just plain cool; multiplayer should add extended life
Cons: So much is identical to original Dead Space; at times still more startling than scary; some of the gore is a bit unnecessary
