Hi Robert, MacSpeech Dictate 1.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Leopard) or later. The last version of MacSpeech Dictate that was compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.x (Tiger) was Dictate 1.3.

MacSpeech Dictate is the first speech recognition program for the Mac that offers recognition as good as similar Windows software. It works with just about any program, and its accuracy is excellent. But it's not without a few quirks.

When dictating, you need to speak clearly and naturally. You must be consistent and avoid words like “um” and “ah.” In addition, you have to speak every punctuation mark and you must speak certain control words to, for example, capitalize letters or...
